we have just purchased tickets for daniel o donald concert. just confirm tickets are side by side they are m60-61 in stalls bit hard to tell on website thanks
Hi Kevin,
I have looked at the seating chart on our Hamer Hall page at https://www.melbournepoint.com.au/attractions/hamer-hall/ as that is where the event is held (not the state threatre which this page is and likely why i couldnt see your seats), but having zoomed in far enough, your seats are in fact next to each other, with M60 being on the aisle and M61 on the right (if you are facing the stage).
Thanks
Michael
Why is there no seat number and row when purchasing tickets.for Boy from OZ. ? Usually ticketek is so easy.
I like to know what I am buying.
Lorraine
Hi Lorraine,
In just tried buying a ticket through the Ticketmaster website and was able to see both the seat and row number when i reached the shopping cart. Although i couldn’t see the exact seats during the selection process, the row was present.
Just in case you are being lead to a 3rd party reseller, the official Ticketmaster link to buy the tickets is http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/The-Boy-from-Oz-tickets/artist/1055678.
Thanks,
Michael
We have tickets for the Production Company “Oklahoma” and “The Boy from OZ” in Circle Row FF Seats 3 & 4. and worried it will be too far back.
Hi Barbara,
No, your seats at the State Theatre are not too far back. Your seats are second from the front in the Dress Circle.
Enjoy the shows!
Best regards,
Jess
Is there a camera view of the Stage from different sections of the theater inside : – Stalls ; Circle; Balcony -. There use to be. I am seeing on the internet many pictures as a whole but not from specific angles/sections. It makes it hard to choose seats. Can someone please help where to look ?
Hi Annie,
I’ve done a bit of a search and have been unable to located a view of the stage from various angles. Perhaps you could call the State Theatre box office and they could give you some information about the best seats for your chosen show.
Best regards,
Jess
I am planning to bring my mother to the theatre. Are there many stairs to the circle or possibly lifts?
Hi Julie,
The State Theatre is wheelchair accessible and there is accessible seating throughout the venue, although I am not sure about the Dress Circle.
I suggest you get in contact with the Arts Centre’s Disability Access Manager on (03) 9281 8503 during business hours. They will be able to give you more specific information about specific seats within their venue.
Kind regards,
Jess
Hi, are stalls AA good seats?
Hi Lesley,
Yes, Stalls AA are GREAT seats!
I prefer the stalls when going to the theatre and being only a few rows from the front gets you up nice and close to the action. Even if you have to sacrifice a few rows, try to get seats in the centre of the theatre as, for larger productions, some of the sets can cut off the action with seats at the very edges. Best to go a few rows back to get seats in the middle.
Enjoy the show!
Regards,
Jess
Hi ! Will the boxes have a good vantage point for ballets or any show?
Hi Charmaine,
For me, I always prefer to sit in the Stalls or in the centre in the balcony. The Boxes will certainly get you closer to the action, but for shows with large set productions, you may not get the full effect by sitting off to the side.
However, for something like the ballet where the artists have your full focus and come to the front and centre of the stage, the boxes are a good option to get up close to the dancers.
Regards,
Jess
