Hi,
My wife and I are interested in going to Mt. Baw Baw for the snow sightseeing on 28 August 2016. We are planning to stay in the Melbourne CBD, near Flinders St.
We are not familiar with Mt. Baw Baw at all, so I have few queries:
1. What is the entry charge to Mt Baw Baw for snow sightseeing?
2. Is there any Sightseeing lift (something like what Mt Buller has) and how much does it cost?
3. Is there service for renting jacket, pant and toboggan, and how much does it cost?
4. Is there any food court or restaurant for lunch meal?
Thank you
Hi Durian,
1. Entry: Weekend rate is $55 per vehicle per day.
2. Lift passes: Yes there is a lift and it costs $80 per adult for 1 day
3. Clothing rental: You can rent from one of the two stores located in the village. Click here for pricing.
4. Food: There are a number of cafes and restaurants in the village where you can get a quick bite or enjoy a sit-down meal.
If you are looking to book accommodation in Melbourne near Flinders Street, I have attached a link to the options here – just enter your dates.
Have a great time on Mt. Baw Baw!
