These two spots are among the city’s most popular attractions. In addition, Fed Square also houses the Melbourne Visitor Centre, a one-stop spot for all kinds of tourist information.

Apart from its attractions and dining choices, Federation Square is also known for its unique architecture. Visitors often find this area very fascinating due to its smart and unique fusion architecture.

Federation Square has free Wi-Fi available in The Atrium, Deakin Edge and all public spaces including The Square, Flinders St Amphitheatre, River Terrace and Federation Wharf.

Get to Federation Square by taking a train and alighting at Flinders Street Station, Federation Square is directly across the road. Trams and buses also frequent this part of the city.

For those driving into the city, there is a car park located right next to Federation Square. The Fed Square Car Park is open 24 hours and is accessible from Russell Street or Batman Ave (Exhibition Street extension, City Link) and has a flat rate of $16.00 on weekends and Friday evenings after 4pm. Enter after 4pm during the week and parking is only $13.00.
