Legoland Discovery Centre

Head over to Chadstone Shopping Centre and take the kids out for a fun day of play at the Legoland Discovery Centre!

Opened in April 2017, kids and adults can come and enjoy all things Lego with a number of special attractions including play areas, rides, a Cinema and a Lego Shop.

The creative space created by Lego will have kids excited to visit this amazing attraction as there is so much to enjoy. Visit Miniland which is a mini-city that was built from over 1.5 million bricks. Take a ride on Kingdom Quest where you have to zap the villains in order to save the princess followed by Merlin’s Apprentice Ride where you have to pedal to conjure up a potion for Merlin.

Visitors are also able to take a factory tour to see how Lego is made as well as participate in a workshop to see how to make the biggest and best structures with Lego. You will also find the Fire Academy inside where kids can have fun in the soft play area and a Duplo Farm where kids between 2-5 can build with super large, soft bricks.

After all that, head over to the Lego 4D Cinema where you will experience rain, wind and snow in an awesome 4D experience.

It is best to plan 2-3 hours for your visit to Legoland as there is so much to see and do! Adults need to be accompanied by a child to visit Legoland, however, there will be special events planned that are adults only.

The venue is wheelchair and pram friendly and has family and wheelchair friendly bathrooms. BYO food and drink is not permitted, with the exceptions of baby food or food for children with allergies. There is a cafe inside the centre which serves sandwiches, coffee as well as sweet treats.

It is best to reserve your tickets online in advance as space is limited and you will be required to choose a time for entry which assists in reducing wait times.
