The library is also home to some excellent exhibitions. Here, you’ll be able to see the original armour of the bushranger Ned Kelley. Your free guided tour also includes a visit to the permanent exhibit hall of the library.
The library boasts over two million books, pictures, newspapers, audios, videos, maps and manuscripts. In fact, the collections on this library include books and manuscripts of the past 150 years.
The State Library features excellent artworks and exhibitions representing the past and present of Victoria. The library also has three galleries that feature an excellent collection of artwork, exhibitions and paintings. Stop by the Keith Murdoch Gallery, Dome Galleries and the Cowen Gallery and explore each of the library’s amazing collections and artworks.

They even provide free WIFI to use while you’re there.
