Tennis World is a world class tennis centre located in Melbourne which offers training facilities for professional tennis players during the Australian Open.
The centre manages two different facilities: Albert Reserve and Melbourne Park. Melbourne Park has hosted the Australian Open since 1988 and Albert Reserve serves as the official training grounds for professional tennis players taking part in the Australian Open.
Tennis World Melbourne Tour Times & Bookings
Members at Tennis World have access to the same facilities used by professionals, including a fully equipped gym, outdoor and indoor tennis courts as well as parking for court users.
Those touring Melbourne may wish to book an Australian Open Tour that gives a glimpse of behind-the-scenes activities at Melbourne’s largest park. Australian Open Guided Tours take visitors behind the scenes at the world famous Rod Laver Arena and Margaret Court Arena. The Tours are run daily by experienced and knowledgeable tour guides.
The tours should be booked in advance and are scheduled as follows: Monday through to Friday at 11.30am, 1.00pm and 2.30pm. On weekends, the tours are scheduled for 11.30am and 1.00pm. Visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before departure time. More importantly, visitors must take note that the tours are not available in January as they cannot run concurrently with the Australian Open.
