Just about every part of the wall is covered in graffiti, making for a visually compelling adventure. The total area of the graffiti-covered wall stretches out for about 550 square metres, so there is every reason to stroll on the lane and study the art located here.

The beauty about this form of art is that it forces the visitor to ask themselves questions about what message the art is trying to convey. It is therefore no surprise that most of the graffiti on Union Lane has a political twist to it. For the most part, street art stirs up controversy, but in a unique way.

A number of bars and cafes also dot the lane where you can grab a quick snack, coffee or sit down meal with friends.
