Every year, the citizens of Melbourne celebrate the Latin Summer Festival. This free event welcomes Latin communities and Australians to get together and enjoy Latin culture, including music, dance, and art.

Furthermore, this event includes parades, exhibitions, stalls, and other entertainment.

This annual festival offers a range of activities for guests, including the opportunity to participate in Latin dance sessions and singing. Several local Latin restaurants also participated in and sponsored the event.

The dance and music festival will be held throughout our multicultural hubs. They always aim to deliver the most exciting event possible; the finest local artists and Latin bands are invited to perform for their fans. More than 20 DJs are coming to offer a fantastic performance you don’t want to miss, with a lot of great music played by them at this massive event through the Latin music hub.

There will be plenty of roving performers around the festival, as well as Latin music performances, including salsa, cumbias, samba, capoeira, and batucada. DJs and outdoor dance classes will also be available, and everyone is welcome to come and join in for free!

Remember to try all the traditional and authentic food at the many onsite food stalls, which represent Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil.

The event features traditional costumes, dances, and celebrations, bringing together Melbourne’s rich and diverse culture. The event draws in thousands yearly and highlights key Latin American social, environmental and cultural issues.
