If you are catching the Tram to MotorEx: Tram No. 57 (Elizabeth Street City, to West Maribyrnong) stops at Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre (stop 32) on Epsom Road, a short 3 minute walk from Gate 1 of Melbourne Showgrounds.
Best regards,

Hi,
Do you pre-book tickets or buy them on the day.
Lesley
Hi Lesley,
It appears that you can actually do either, but it does mention on the official website that “online tickets are cheaper than at the gate”.
There is no mention of what the price difference actually is, but the additional upside to buying online is that it will likely be quicker to enter and you can skip the ticket queues at the entrance.
Thanks
Michael
