Wellness Walk and Research Run 2025, Date, Prices, Course, Melbourne

Release the lycra, slip on those leg-warmers, feel the beat… and get physical as you join us for Olivia’s Walk for Wellness 2025.

This year, the 5km walk will be held again in one of Olivia’s favourite spots in Melbourne — the Tan and the beautiful Alexandra Gardens.

Bring your family and friends to help celebrate Dame Olivia Newton-John’s incredible legacy while raising funds to support the vital work of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre.

The ONJ Centre brings light, love and transformative care to cancer patients by providing free access to integrated, evidence-based wellness therapies that treat the whole person – mind, body and spirit.

Your ticket purchase and the funds you raise will help continue Olivia’s life-changing legacy – the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre (ONJ Centre).

Get physical on a day out with your family and friends. Your ticket includes:

  • Free warm-up and lots of giveaways from the stage
  • Enjoy roving performances as you complete your walk through the beautiful gardens
  • Sing along to all of your favourite Olivia songs with a talented lineup
  • Receive a free doggy bandana for your registered pup
  • Get physical in your 80’s gear at the photo booth
  • Kids and Pet Zone for lots of family entertainment

When you fundraise for Olivia’s Walk for Wellness, you bring love, light and transformative care to cancer patients. Funds raised throughout the year and at the event provide thousands of patients access to ONJ Centre wellness programs. Olivia knew the value of wellness support and devoted her life to advocating for people’s access. The ONJ Centre continues her legacy.

Tickets to participate in the Walk are limited, so please get in quickly to secure your spot.

If you miss the live event in Melbourne, please sign up for the virtual event and walk wherever you are in the world.

Olivia would want it to be a day of joy and positivity, so invite your friends, family, and coworkers and show your support for Olivia and those with cancer together.

Checking In

Please arrive at least one hour before your wave starts to allow plenty of time to check in, collect and write on your race bib, walk around the village, and participate in the warmup.

The course is approximately 5.5km long and will start and finish at Engineers Lawn, Alexandra Gardens, and take in Melbourne’s famous Tan Track.

Wave times commence at 9:15am, with a new wave starting every 30 minutes. Your race bib will indicate which wave you have entered. Please listen to the MC’s announcements regarding warm-up at the stage and marshalling at the start line.
