The church’s design is in an English gothic style. This design was from Joseph Reed, a famous designer who also contributed to the design of the Melbourne Town Hall. Most notably, the church’s spire rises 53.3 meters above the ground.
For art lovers, inside the church are two paintings that depict different biblical stories adorn the church’s walls. Additionally, other facilities within the church include a former school house, Nicholas Hall as well as the Princess Mary Club.
Everyone is welcome to come and worship or just come in for a look at this beautiful building. There are worship services at the following times each day: 9.15am – Gospel Hall Cantonese/Mandarin Service; 11am – Morning Worship; and 7pm – Evening Worship. For visitors, the free organ recital held every Wednesday at 1pm is a wonderful time to view the church.
