South Yarra is another popular suburb of Melbourne; located just a few kilometres south-east of the CBD. Just like Southbank, South Yarra is very popular amongst both visitors and locals. Why not stay in the local accommodation options here and choose from the range of quality apartments, hotels and house rentals.
Shopping in this suburb is quite popular and visitors often come here to check out Chapel Street and Toorak Road. Each of these streets is a major shopping hub. Visitors will find many upscale shopping stores, trendy boutiques and wide choices of designer clothing and homewares.

I heard a discussion on ABC 774 this am. with Hillary Harper talking to a lovely young girl called. Sophie @ apx. 7.30.It was about talking between a senior & a younger person “Tech, Tea, & Tales. She said it was available somewhere in South Yarra, from 24th. October.
I thought it could be interesting for some of my Grandchildren to be involved in & maybe even myself aged 74.
I would love some more information, I just do not seem to be able to locate it on my computer.
Many thanks, regards, Sandra.
